Wait, where the heck have you been?
Happy New Year to everyone! It’s been over eight months since I last posted an article here on On Aviation™, and several of our dedicated followers and subscribers have reached out to ask why they haven’t seen any articles lately. For those who were concerned, rest assured—I’m doing very well, and I deeply appreciate your thoughtful inquiries.
The truth is, writing these articles is a passion project for me—something I do in my spare time. As many of you know, I am an amateur economist, a trained yet non-practicing professional in the field. I’m also a pilot, but most importantly, I manage a small business with an incredible team of talented individuals who create software for businesses and individuals alike.
Lately, we’ve been consumed by a new venture—one that began somewhat serendipitously but has grown into a valuable resource for our community. Over the past eight months, this project has demanded significant attention, but now that it has transitioned from its embryonic stage and begun to take its first steps in the real world, I finally have a bit more bandwidth to return to this cherished hobby of writing.
Moving forward, you can expect to see more articles each week focusing on aviation—particularly where it intersects with economics, market dynamics, geopolitical influences, and personal growth. Yes, I realize it’s a lot to cover, but these areas are where I thrive.
The past eight months have been eventful: a pivotal presidential election in the United States, a record number of democratic elections globally, tragic aircraft accidents, and inflation creeping back into the spotlight—just as we predicted. While I wasn’t able to address these developments at the time, rest assured that 2025 will bring even greater challenges. This makes it more important than ever for enthusiasts like myself to share insights that help navigate the complexities ahead.
I must also ask for your patience with my writing. I pen these articles personally, and while I strive for clarity, I’m aware that errors in grammar or structure can sometimes slip through. If you notice any mistakes, please don’t hesitate to let me know. Feedback from readers over the years has helped me improve my craft, and I am grateful for your constructive input.
Finally, I encourage you to reach out if there’s a particular topic you’d like me to explore from the unique perspective we’ve cultivated here on On Aviation™.
Thank you for your continued readership and support. As we step into a new year, I wish you all prosperity and resilience in facing the challenges ahead.
